Or saving it all for Star Wars?

I don't know much about 'Galaxy.  It's got a lot of buzz.  The previews looked pretty cool.  The hardcore Hitchhikers tell me they don't think it can live up to the books...

There is simply no way it could live up to the books.  The series goes off on waay too many tangents and the writing style is that of silly and/or weird things that actually are making a point about the human condition.  That's a tough thing to adapt.

That said I think it will still be worth seeing.

It was ok.  There were some very funny parts but the movie did drag durring the chick rescue.  The "yarn" scene was one of the funniest things I've seen in a long time.
