A prophet?  Okay, I'm going to wave off the jokes that come to mind about the Prophet Mohammed at this point.

However, this is TYPICAL of your twisted version of reality -- I never said that Nazr was going to be a great player -- simply said that the Spurs didn't lose anything by trading for him.  The weren't even PLAYING Malik -- so how could trading for an actual back-up center hurt them?  

Look at it this way:  Nazr was playing a little over 25 minutes, I believe, and averaging 10 points and 8 rebounds while shooting 50% from the field.  That already makes taking a chance on him pretty easy -- that's better than Malik was doing -- and he is a real center and a better shotblocker.  I don't expect great things from him but I think he could be as good as Rasho -- and since Rose WASN'T playing (hmm, how many times do you have to say this for you to comprehend) the Spurs didn't lose anything!

Oh no I have agreed twice with Randy in one day, heaven forbid.  Mohommad is not great player, but he is at least as good as Rasho, and I think better.  In my opinion Rasho is a puss, Nazr is not.  Nazr will help a lot more than Malik Rose.

LMAO, the "special" poster is trying to sound like he has some brain matter.  when you get off the yellow bus, take your own advice, use that stats when it supports your statement, it could save us from long rambling strings of repeatedly explainning to you how it doesn't in those situations.

First off.....excuse me for being a WEEK late. Some really wierd things have been goin on lately.....like Yao grabbing 22 board last night...in the NBA, not overseas!?!

I'll keep this short and sweet since I'm on a crunch for time......

He wont be great, special, or anything like that in my opinion....but he has the tools and size to make an impact as a role player for any team. I'm really interested to see how he developes in SA, especially after his last few stints in ATL ans NY. When you play for a loser, its easy to lack in motivation, which can negatively effect their play. Now he's playing for a winner and contender.....this type of jump will motivate any player to bring his "A" game every night. With Nazr, I dont think anyone in the NBA has seen his "A" game to this point. Yet, he did stand out in ATL and NYC for his play. Imagine what playing in SA, with Duncan and Pop to pass on knowledge will do for his game.

I predict his stock will skyrocket from this point......

Ex cellent.
Sounds like worst case scenario is he will be an above average player.
Best case would be his A game develops.

From a pure stat point of view, whenever he has gotten 20+ minutes (ATL or NY) per game he seems to snap down rebounds at a good rate and score adequately.  If they can beef up his O.  

Now if the Spurs could just get him on the court....
Update:
16 minutes 7 pts 9 boards 5 O boards.  I like that.
Horry sucked again, there is no way to spin 0-5.  
The Spurs disgust me with 87-80 lead and then a bunch of turnovers as they give up 0-10 in the last 3:27.
Zit says he is happy with the effort.  Okay I'll buy that but his offense adjustment ability SUCKS!
