You must give the Eagles defense credit for Vick's performance. THey used two men just behind the line of scrimmage outside the tackles to contain Vick. He couldn't run right or left without them tackling him, and if he managed to break up the middle, they would come together and squeeze him.
Atlanta's recivers weren't good enough to demand more than single man coverage. Vick had nowhere to throw and the running backs couldn't get yards against the Eagles front, which managed to sack and harrass Mr. Speedy all day.
McNabb was so much better that there's really no comparison, and the Falcons didn't even belong on the same field. He had plenty of time in the pocket and did a great job of spreading the ball around. That Chad Lewis touchdown was definitly good. The referee was right on top of the play, and the replay showed he managed to drag his right toe in-bounds. Besides it didn't matter, they would have scored on the next play anyway.
Blew the Pittsburgh/NE game, which I really wasn't solid on. The Patriots are going to be a great matchup for the Eagles, I'm looking forward to a great Super Bowl.
