zig, are you there?
Carlos Beltran 10 yrs for $150 mil.

Thats what agent Scott BorAss is asking.
Would you bite?
Scuttlebut is that Arnie Mareno is whom BorAss is trying to lure.
I can't see how Monty Burns Steinbrenner wouldn't also bite.

Adrian Beltre wants 5 yr 75 mil.  for one good year.  Worth it or see Phil Nevin.

Pedro Martinez?  Naw not me.  But rich Skankees said to be pursuing.

I want to see Randy Johnson with Curt Shill for Part II.

Rumors floating around about Shawn Green/Sosa....sounds like complete BS to me.  I guess they are saying Dodgers could trade Green for Sosa but didnt get into much detail.

No a more logical one was 3 team trade of Green to Cubs, couple Colo pitchers to LA, Steroids Sosa to Colorado.

Speaking of steroids, notice how all the HR stats are way down since BALCO bust?

LA gave Beltray a superb offer IMO, think it was 3yr 37.  But Angles owner Mareno may be counteroffering as Troy Glaus health makes him iffy at 3B.

I hate to say it but i think Carlos Beltran will get his 10 yr 150.  Depending on the team he ends up on he may end up being worth it.  Grady Garners benching of his two best relievers cost Houston Beltran, Roger Return and a World Series appearance IMO.
