I don't know about the Liz Taylor reference.
Be more specific.

Did she?

bing bing.
I was reffering to the "Daddy".  The episode was when Lisa was born and thus Bart no longer recieved all the attention.  Bart then attempted to have Lisa shipped to the Miami heat.  However just when Bart was going to bail, Lisa said her 1st word "Bart".  Thrilled with this, they went downstairs where Marge informed Bart that Lisa was crazy about him.  Lisa went on to say Mama, David Hasselhoff, and Homer instead of Daddy.  Perturbed, Homer took Maggie upstairs and said he hoped she never said a word.  Right after closing the door Maggie said "Daddy" to the empty room.  As far as i know that is the one and only.

Liz Taylors voice?  Okay.  Was there some signifigance or reason for L.T.?
Of all that W.O.W. why is it you recall it was Liz Taylors voice.

They made a big deal about the episode.  Most, if not all, the celebs that have appeared in the Simpsons, Paul McCartny, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Bet Midler etc... were voiced by the real people.

A friend/in-law worked on the Simpsons then King of the Hill then Futurama now back to King of the Hill.  I'm a big fan of the Simpsons, believe it or not, some of the most intelligent humor is on that show (the Stone Cutter episode was an all time great).  South Park is the other mirror/commentary of our society but most people don't "get it".
