NBA Discussion / Re: Why the hate/disrespect for LeBron?

I think Lebron's problem goes back to his anointing, his subsequent mistreatment of the Cavaliers ("the Decision"), and his inability when the game was on the line to be "the man" thus deferring to IMO the REAL star of the Miami Heat, Dwane Wade.
He certainly has demonstrated his dominance this season but his understated arrogance, much like Kobe and Shaq's overt arrogance, has doomed him to criticism, and I think it is criticism well deserved, I am NO fan of James, but even I am grudgingly recognizing his skills, although he has yet to prove to me he has the stab your heart out and eat it in front of you killer instinct of a Jordan or Bryant, an instinct despite your love of the man, Shaq also lacked.
What are your thoughts? Can't throw the question out there without pontificating about it yourself!
A;; that being said, let me ask you your opinion regarding the Thunder, especially my man (UCLA, what can I say?) Westbrook? Is he the PG of the future? Id Durrant capable of taking them to the promised land? Can the Thunder break through? One of the most exciting team I have seen in a long time, your thoughts?
