He's a grown man mijo, sadly, he has to learn his lesson. I would say go old school if it was a minor. No matter what you do, if its what he really wants, he will go right back to it.

I went to go help a buddy of mine build some showers for some of the refugees. It was hard work but it felt good helping out.  On the flipside, a police officer here who is patrolling KellyUSA said lots of drugs and weapons were confiscated, and some have been seen looking to buy drugs around the area. A Houston police officer also told me there have been a rash burglaries of vehicles in apartments in close proximity to the Astrodome. Can't pin this on them, but I think its pretty obvious one can make an assumption. Many of these people are longtime welfare recipients and some are career thugs. And while I feel 95% of these people are probably good, hardworking people,  part of me can't help but feel that the wealthy New Orleanians are going to be glad to see these low-end people go.

Major props to the Governor of Texas though.  Although I despise the job he has done, I must say that he's done a tremendous job in helping these folks out. San Antonians are stepping up big too, glad to see us as a city show our generosity to these folks. It's going to be a long tough road though.

There was another noble story on Real Sports with Bryant Gumbel the other day. About a man that pushed his paraplegic son on triathalons with him. Great father/son story, not sure if anybody caught it.

Legacy?

 No, I think for most of today's NBA players, it's simply about a ring.

I took my kids to see it yesterday, both were bored out of their minds, but they did learn alot. Overall, very good documentary, not worth paying $5 to see it though.

If you see Electra the movie, she gets healed by the Stick, then trained to become an assasin. DD actually makes a cameo coming to her in a vision where he tells her he's waiting for her. She comes back to life by the Stick though. And I heard Ben Afleck has no intention of dawning the suit again.

Here's the scoop on Spidey and F4.

Marvel came out with MARVEL KNIGHTS SPIDERMAN, which is a comic geared to adults. Darker storylines, sexual situations, I started reading it last year, and I love it. MARVEL AGE Spiderman is for kids, I don't read that. I do read AMAZING SPIDERMAN and SPECTACULAR SPIDERMAN though, and I really enjoy those. There's a give and take with comic book titles, at times, the stories are great, they they will switch off and start a new arch that just sucks, then they will come back with good stuff.  I LOVED the storyline of bringing back Gwen Stacy's kids in Amazing Spiderman and later continued in Spectacular Spiderman. The idea that Gwen got pregnant and had children BEFORE she died was captivating, and how her kids had mutant powers and wanted to KILL Peter Parker for abandoning them was killer!  MUST READ!!!!!!

Any thoughts, should this guy step down?  I have my own BIASED deep personal thoughts on this guy, wondering what the right side of the board feels. Evidently, Bush is sticking by his man (can't really afford to lose him, after all.) :nonono:

Ahh, DC vs Marvel. I'm a HUGE Marvel fan, and I never really got into DC Comics...until now. As of late, DC storylines are getting intense, and I'm finding the whole Justice League far more entertaining than anything Marvel is putting out.

In fact, other than when I was 8 years old, I never ever read ANY comics until a buddy of mine who is an avid reader got me reading into a few Fantastic 4 and Spiderman storylines. That's pretty much all I needed, now I'm hooked!  I visit my comic book store at least twice a month, and I pickup about 4 or 5 comics a month.  For my wife, she would rather me spend my "beer money" on something like a comic book than on actual...well...BEER!!!
