   Now, I don't care WHAT anyone says here or anywhere else. If Ed Stefanski re-signs Miller at even ONE penny more than Bibby accepted, then Stefanski should immediately be fired! Let alone giving him the money that jason Kidd reportedly agreed to which is believed to be 3 years at 25 million


 Boy, 3 years at 18 million, for Bibby ? That's not even close to full MLE money. C;mon Ed, don't be a " Billy King ", and bid against yourself when NOBODY else is even courting Dre Miller.

The guy on WIP, Rob Chery, man, he really wants Dalembert gone. And said he would take
" WHATEVER " for him, as would Stefanski probably. oh really huh ?
Okay, how about this doable 3-team trade then.



 Philly-Bucks-Houston.


  Houston trades,


 T-Mac to the Bucks
K.Lowry to Philly
Draft rights to 2nd rounder Chase Budinger to the Bucks.


 Houston gets,

 Dalembert from Philly
Willie Green from Philly
Louis Williams from Philly.


 Reason, ,Houston obviously needs a center in place of Ming. Dalembert is no Ming, but he is far from a stiff. Dalembert would fit Houston's uptempo style, and can board and get some blocks. They lose Lowry, but gain Lou Williams who is a much better offensive player, and more of a scoring threat than Lowry. Willie Green also has offense, and he gives Houston a a bargaining chip so they don't have to cave-in on free agent Von Waffer's contract demands.


The Bucks deal,

Michael Redd to Philly
Kurt Thomas to Philly
Draft rights to 2nd rounder Jodie Meeks to Philly.


Bucks get,

T-Mac
Draft rights to Budinger.


Reason. Look, it's painfulyl clear that the Bucks don't want to pay out Redd's over 18 million next season. The Jefferson trade proves that. T-Mac's deal not only ends this season, but I bet the Bucks can even lower that amount if they and T-Mac can agree on a buy out. Then, they replace the rights of Meeks with Budinger who is a more multi-demensional player then Meeks is, who is only a SG.


Philly trades,

Dalembert-Green, and L.Williams ALL to Houston, and gets back,,


Michael Redd
Kyle Lowry
Kurt Thomas
Draft rights to Jodie Meeks.


 Sixers do take a chance on Redd being healthy, and remaining that way. but they also rid themselves of Dalembert, and his whining ways here in Philly.
They replace Miller with a young, but still somewhat Exp PG in Lowry who IS  a philly native, and who can split the PT with Holiday at the PG spot. Redd gives us a legit true SG and # 1 scorer. lets Iggy move to his more natural SF spot. Yes this means Thad will have to continue to play as a PF, but it's not like he's not used to it. Brand becomes our starting Center, and who is better equipted to do it in Jordan's Princeton offense with his passing out of the post skills. Kurt Thomas is a last year contract player who might give us back some of the toughness lost in Reggie Evans. And Jodie Meeks is a " PURE " shooter who I believe was the player Stefanski was targetting when he was trying to get a 2nd rounder in this past draft.


  We then make a play for Anthony Parker after he is renounced to take Willie Green's scoring role off the bench, and WHAM, there you go. A pretty decent squad right ? Of course this trade can't take place til Aug 23rd when Kurt Thomas can be traded once again. But still, thats plenty of time before Camp opens up. I think ALL three teams do this deal, epecially the Bucks cause they want to rid themelves of Redd's 2010/2011 salary. Houston doesn't get ripped-off either. T-mac has
zero future there in Houston. And both Green & Lou Williams gives Houston some more backcourt offense which is what they mostly need.


 There, done deal, off-season moves all finished :-)

   Wanting Bibby was perfectly alright rick. As skates stated, it was only for one season, as a stop gap while  Holiday gets some experience. Plus, with Miller wanting at least a 3 year guaranteed deal, why would stefanski want to give that ? J.Jack would make the least amount of sense. No PG skills at all. A horrid shooter and defender. If the Blazers end up signing David Lee, but still want us to sign & trade Miller to them, then they will have to PAY a high price if they want to hold on to players like Outlaw, or Webster, but just want to give us Blake, and other scrubs, like Frye. If I were ed, I would demand TWO, unconditional 1st rounders with no protection. Either that, or hang up the phone. I also would demand the draft rights to Cunningham as well in any such sign & trade.




  It's called " Hard ball " Ed, ask Chris Matthews how to play it if you do not know how :-)

  Hi everyone. I was just wondering what everyone here might think of this trade idea of mine. And, would the other team consider it.



 Philly sends dalembert & Lou Williams to Indy.


 Indy sends us TJ Ford & J.Tinsley.


The salaries match up according to the RealGM trade checker. And even though I know the pacers are sending out 2 PG's in this deal. They would be getting back Williams, and will in all likelyhood till have J.Jack. However, the Pacers according to reports have mentioned Ford in trade talks. And have been trying to dump Tinsley on anyone.


 Even though I know some of you might fel dealing Dalembert might be a mistake since we have little center depth. but I disagree. remember, Sam is not happy here, and has been a distraction for a while. I believe a trio of Brand-Speghts and J.Smith could man the center position. And we can always use an exception to bring in another vet big just in case.


 All the players except Lou have two years remaining on their deals. Indy actually saves a little money in this rade. While Philly has to deal with Tinsley's attitude, they also get a nice Vet PG in Ford to help ease in Holiday for a couple of years, while still being able to give us some good PG play with our already playoff team.


 Dalembert gives Larry bird and his team a legit rebounding and shot-blocking big man, which they need. While getting rid of Tinsley, and saving some loot. Not to mention a very nice young guard in Lou Williams.



Would such a deal Interest anyone here ? And, would both teams consider it ?

 All good suggestion everyone. But, even though we got our PG in Holiday. I really would like a invite for North dakota State's Ben Woodside. I know they report he had a bad portsmith showing. But man, he college stats are great. And what he did to Bill Self's Kansas team in the NCAA tournament, and that Defense was really Impressive. The kid may be as white as snow, but he is super quick, and a good passer. In a open type of offense, maybe he won't be much. But, in a princeton
type of offense, with his shooting ability from the 3Pt line, he might be that off the bench Diamond in the rough.


 I mean what harm can it do to take a look at the kid ?

Hello everyone. Brand new here. Great to have more sier boards to respond at. i totally agree with Derek's write up. I saw Jrue play in High School in person, and on the tube several times. he IS a legit PG. He's the only So-Cal player to ever lead his team to three national 4A Championships in the state of California. And comparing his physical traits to other recent PG's like D.Rose, Bayless and others, Holiday is right there with any of them. He's taller than Rose, has a better standing reach. Just barely behind in verticle, but that's mostly due to his 17/18 year old body not being fully developed yet. His sprint time at the pre-draft camp was just as fast as Rocket's guard Aaron brooks ran the year before, and he's not too slow is he ?


  I just hope the sixers don't mess around at give this guy next to no PT this season. They have to throw him into the fire, just like the Celtics did Rondo. Just like D.Rose, and others. I mean it's not like we're gonna be a title contender anyways. i say get him ready, and let him learn. The kid has an excellant work ethic and attitude. And has been a winner everywhere he has played. I've read alot of comparisons to Holiday. The ones that come up most are a combo of Delonte West, and Jarret Jack. Man, they couldn't be more off target. When I have seen Holiday play. Given his style, and height, and great great defensive actics. i truly see a young Gary Payton, if I see anyone.
Only with a better attitude :-)
