Title: Tim Duncan salary cut more than 50%

All I can say is WOW!

People like TD don't come around very often, especially in professional sports. What an amazing gesture on his part to help his team. I know others have taken pay cuts in the past but nothing close to the massive cut TD volunteered to take.

Always been a classy cat, and the way he played last year no one would have blamed him for taking no cut at all

It's testament to his character that this isn't even terribly shocking.   Plus, you know that you'll never here about Timmy trying a comeback in Siberia or working the memorbilia circuit because he pissed away his millions.
