You know, like...AI's a Grizz ya know....it's like, ya know his rookie season and all.

PLAYOFFS? WHO NEEDS PLAYOFFS? I DONT NEED TO PLAY NO PLAYOFFS IN MEMPHIS!

Poor AI gets no respect from anyone, goes to a non-playoff team and isn't even guaranteed to start. Goes from being a $20 mil a season down to $3.5.
It is hard to build a team with him, and a lot of that is his fault. All the problems he's having may have the effect of turning him into more of a team player. It is very telling that none of the playoff teams wanted to pick him up.
If anything will motivate him to change, it's being bumped around the league like a hot potato.

^^ or thinking he can play well and hook up with a contender before the trade deadline?

I would imagine that he wants a ring more than anything at this point, but all the contending teams are already at or over the cap. Boston, Orlando, Cleveland and LA are all cap bound or over. They might do it, if they thought AI would put them over the top, that is make them a lock to win the finals.
Is he good enough to do that? Fit in with a Boston or LA well enough to make a difference? Replace Fisher with AI, or replace Rondo with him? Possible, but probably very remote. These teams already had a chance and did not pursue him, which suggests that they don't think he'd make enough of a difference.

^^ things can change between now and the trade deadline. That he doesn't fit now with contending teams might not matter later.
And no way Iverson would sell out and become a Flaker.

I think if LA made him an offer, he'd go in a heartbeat.

Rotfl! No way. AI would get right in Stirling's face.
