Title: Sixers are in 5th place heading into the All-Star break.
Post by: rickortreat on February 12, 2009, 11:48:02 AM
Thanks to LA's loss last night, the Sixers are now the hottest team in the league with a 4 game win streak.  A few games after DiLeo took over for Cheeks the team started winning.  They have won 14 of their last 18 games, a winning rate that puts them into Elite status, over .750.

They should be able to catch Atlanta for the 4th spot, and depending on how much the loss of Jameer hurts Orlando, by the end of the season they may reach the 3rd spot.

They're still under the radar, no one takes them seriously yet.  But if they keep winning it won't be much longer.  Just remember where you read it first.

We've read this same exact post for years Charlie Brown.  Sometimes we read this post a couple of times durring the same season.
