Thanks, gaither!

Like I said in my other message, it was a lot of hair-pulling, and a season of arguing basketball and fantasy strategy - mostly with Skander - and, more than anything, a hell of a lot of fun for me.  I can't wait for next year!

Next up on the fantasy league hit parade:  watching the NBA draft to see which players are on their way in - and out.

Would any of you folks be up for meeting somewhere over a weekend for the next Fantasy NBA draft?  Perhaps an NBA city - catch a pre-season game?  Stay somewhere with a high-speed internet connection, so we could do part of the draft live, and then feed it in?

The only two of you I've met in real life so far are Skander (of course) and Jordan.  I'd love to meet some of the rest of you.

Seeing as how I live on the east coast, and am a poor college student, I doubt that's feasible.

Good idea tho.

Dabods,
Don't sell the idea short, yet.  Do you live in Philadelphia?  That does qualify as an NBA city, you know.

Reality, Dennis, Steady Eddy and myself got together to watch game 1 of the 2002 NBA finals.  I was surprised by all of them, I so expected something completely different.  They where all good guys and I've gone to a Laker game and a few Clipper games with Reality.

In short, I'd be up for a "gathering".  A big bonus for me would be to play a little hoops and "learn" some of you a thing or two.
