Have you considered making the league only 8 teams?  It should make managing more important and negate some of the advantage for those who make frequent add/drops to maximize games.  You could also expand th eroster a couple slots.

we expanded the roster last year to minimize add/drops.

moving back to 8 teams would IMO make the top of the draft MUCH more valuable, and should be avoided if possible.

Not only would it make the top of the draft more valuable it would take 60 draftable players and throw them right in the FA pool.  If you thought add/drops was bad before!

I still think we didn't go far enough in expanding the rosters to truly minimize add/drops.  The Charlie Bells of the world were availabe all last year and are useful.  We need to make to where people are choosing amongst the Jake Tsakalidis' of the world.

But how valuable is the draft with 2-3 teams having no manager?  What happens to the competitiveness of the league with several teams with no active management?

Better to have 8 committed managers that have loaded rosters than 12 teams with 1/3 having no direction.

well, obviously the teams have to have managers.  I have one person whom I think will take one of the spot.  We need two more.  If anybody has any recommendations for managers, I'm all ears.

My buddy Dan said he'd take the final team (SpursX3).  I'll have him sign-up in the forums.

He can have mine if he's interested.

You sure?  Don't get out just because of him.  He's interested if there's a team available, but don't leave just because we have someone willing to step in ...

Up to you.

I'd be a once or twice a week manager at best, that was my MO last year.  He's welcome to my team if he's interested and everyone else is cool with it.

I'm sure he'd take it if no one is opposed.  Is everyone cool with the idea?

I would just like to let him know, so he can start doing his homework, if need be.

I'd prefer Wow, but if Wow's not going to be active, then it would be best to get someone who is.  It's really wow's decision.
