at least that's what some western conference fans called the pistsons defense during the start of the playoffs.  Claiming they had overinflated stats because of the weak eastern conference.

ask kobe bryant if the pistons defense is overrated.

The pistson are 3 minutes from holding the lakers to under 70 points, the first time that's been done to the lakers in the shot clock era.

Their a foul away from going from the sweep on sunday, and are completely dominating the series.

Maybe there were a few around here underrating the pistons defense, and frontcourt?

Phil Jackson just got served by larry brown, using every team weakness against them.  larry didn't run that many pick and rolls in 6 years in philly.

This is pretty much my final decision on these topics. We've debated them, I've spent quite a large amount of time thinking about them, and I've run them by a lot of other very experienced people. I've tried to compromise, listen to everyone's concerns, and do what's fair for everyone. I've compromised/changed on all my rules, except on offseason trading. I honestly think this is the best possible outcome.

In fact, most of these changes have severely hurt myself, personally. The change to not have the winner of the consolation bracket have the most chance for the first pick, considering I'm 1 day away from winning that. As well as the limit on the amount of years you can hold the rights to a keeper, since I feel I have as good of 2 keepers as anyone in the league (a quality in which basically cost me the playoffs this year).

Unless there are any serious objectives (and stuff I overlooked), this is how it will stand.

People, please stay in contact, giving me updated stuff for the contact list (I want to add on there Y!M and AIM names) and staying on the official message boards ( http://www.phillyarena.net/forums/index.php?showforum=2 ) over the summer, as that's where Dates, Trades and announcements will be made.

And Drom, please give me either your (or your successor's) e-mail address ASAP.

here's my proposal.

The top 6 picks go to the worst 6 teams  (the teams that don't make the playoffs).  But I don't think the worst team should get the 1st pick, as that will promote teams to tanking the season.

Here's my proposal.

the bottom six teams play in a consolation bracket.  The winner of the consolation bracket gets the most ping pong balls, 2nd place gets second most, and so on.  Therefore, those who do best in the consolation bracket get the best chances of getting a good pick.  This would prevent people from tanking the season, but also ensure that the 6 worst teams get the 6 best draft choices.  There is a randomizer program that i've seen other leagues lose, I'll try to find that.

Picks 6-12 I think should be determined by the finish of the people in the championship round, with the 12th pick going to the 1st place finisher, 11th pick going to the 2nd place finisher, etc.

Thoughts?

Right now I only did  a Team of the Week, Team of the Weak, and Player of the Week.

I plan on adding more, like Player of the Weak, Power Rankings, and lots of statistical analysis (like who had the best weeks, ranking each person by category, etc) when I have more time.  Just had a few seconds so I thought I'd throw it up, just for a little fun.

Well i had stated that eventually i wanted to move Phillyarena.net to another server so i wouldn't put my clients in jeorpardy if something were to happen again and i finally did.

i simply couldn't deal with EZBoard anymore.  Not with the horrible functionality and the brutal popups.

So enjoy (hopefully).

And hopefully this is the last move.
