Philly even trying to trade up or no takers?

Philly people are you over the Sixers failing to immediately move Andre Miller and playing Ig 45 minutes a game resulting in wins the last 30 days thus virtually no chance in the Oden sweepstakes?

I'm over it Reality, there was nothing anyone could do to convince them to throw the season.  They were actually deluded enough to think they could eek out a playoff spot.  It would have been the smart move, in spite of what some smarmy philly sportswriters said.

IMO, they couldn't win in the first round, and didn't belong.  I doubt that they are a .500 team at this point, even in the Atlantic division.  If they really are, that would be a pleasant surprise.  I think their late season record was at least partially due to the other teams tanking against them.

I think Igoudala is our best player, and is a big guard or a small forward.  No one would want him ahead of the other players in that position with the big names, like Kobe or Wade or Arenas, but he's probably good enough at that position to win a championship provided he was surrounded by some other talented players.

If only we were closer with the rest of the team!  Andre Miller is the next best player, and we can't afford to loose him unless we could move up to get a lock first round pick.  Apart from him, I'd let anyone go at this point if we could move  up to get a decent player.

Since there's no way Portland would take anyone (or even everyone!) for Oden, the Sixers will have to make due with what they get.

Unless they can add some real talent, they'll probably be back in the lottery again next season.  There has been some noise about the Sixers picking Sean Williams with their 2nd first rounder.  He's dropped a lot because of his problems at BC, but he has the right size and is very athletic. He and another decent player picked with their first pick would make this a successful draft for Philly, IMO.

They need a big, strong power-forward or center, someone who is ready to play in the NBA.  Whether they can get one or not is the question.

I don't know much about college players and couldn't tell you which ones are going to be good picks this year anyway.  I've read that they say the draft is deep, and there's certainly no clear consensus as to the 12th pick and who they can get there.

The thing is, there seems to be some debate among the writers as to the actual ranking of the players after the top 3 or so.  It makes me wonder how badly the Sixers want to move up- it would make more sense to stand pat with the first pick if the player they want slides to that spot.  If a team ahead of them picks the player they want, they can try to make a deal after the fact, since they have 3 first round picks.

They don't have room on the roster to carry 3 new players, so they would probably like to trade the two other first rounders for a higher pick.

realgm forums getting a permission denied now.

I'm shocked I tell you, shocked.

They haven't a clue how to handle increased load on their servers.

Yeah.  It seems they have everything on one server. No load balancing.  No MySQL clustering.  Not even any replication.  Plus, the forums are on the same server as the main site....it's a mess.  I honestly don't think they have a real tech guy (maybe a programmer, but not a server guy/admin).

Can't believe the bucks are keeping Yi.

I really, really don't want Noah.  But we'll see.  I hope Noah doesn't go 8, cuz he'll then go 9 and not be in our reach.

Do you think Sacramento goes big?  If not, one of Hawes, Noah should be there
