2012-2013 Fantasy Season
« on: October 23, 2012, 10:57:49 AM »
Sent out an email to everyone involved in the fantasy league last year, and set the draft for this weekend.

If you want out, we need to know ASAP.

If you're back in, sign up ASAP and declare your keepers.

Thanks.

Do we have a link showing which keepers are no longer eligible?

8 guys are signed up, and 2 (jem and Patrick) have told me they won't be back.

I haven't heard from Tom or Andrew.

I emailed Andrew, but don't have Tom's contact info, so if somebody does, please try and get ahold of him to see if he's back.

Either way, we need to fill two spots, or just go with ten for this year.

What do you guys think?

And Ted, I'm going to try and post a keeper eligibility list later tonight.

Here's the keeper eligibility list.

Please check this and make sure I didn't make any mistakes.

OUT OF ELIGIBILITY -- MUST GO BACK INTO DRAFT

ONE YEAR LEFT -- CAN BE KEPT IN THIS DRAFT -- MUST GO BACK IN DRAFT NEXT SEASON

ANY PLAYER NOT LISTED IN EITHER OF THE ABOVE LISTS CAN BE KEPT IN THE NEXT TWO DRAFTS

I screwed up and selected Kobe.  Can you change that to Gasol?

Great!  So we need to fill three spots, and Cord's brother is going to be playing, so really just two.

We'll use a random number generator to assign the old teams (and potential keepers) to the new players.  That's the fairest way, I think.

If anyone has any other guys who want to play, just send them the sign up info and let me know they're in.

Use this board, the fantasy board at Yahoo, or my email to get the keepers declared ASAP, so I can enter them before Sunday's draft.

Cord's brother is signed up, but the guy he had lined up for the other spot is out, so maybe we should just stick with ten players?

The big downside is that with keepers, it's hard to go back to 12 in the future.

Thoughts?

What are the two(three?) available teams, so he can look at keepers?

Tom,

Just give him this info and tell him to sign up:

League #55484

password: phillyarena

As soon as we get a 12th player, I'll divvy up the old teams and assign one to each new member, so they can pick keepers.

The draft order was determined by a random number generator.

Derek's team - which finished last - was #1, Patrick's old team (now held by the 'new' Tim) - which finished second-to-last - was #2, and so forth.

Here's the sequence:

2  3  4  6  5  1

Tim will get the first pick, magic72 the second, ect.
